A Notre Dame Inspired Angel Group

About

Founded in 2012, the IrishAngels investing group is dedicated to furthering startup growth through early stage investments in which a founder, Board member, or active investor is a student, graduate, parent, or faculty member at the University of Notre Dame. IrishAngels is comprised of over 190 investors with startup or finance backgrounds in a variety of sectors. IrishAngels members are interested in identifying and investing in the most promising early stage ventures and are able to leverage the extensive Notre Dame network to provide value to our portfolio companies.

Funding

IrishAngels seeks high potential startups for seed and Series A investments (~$1 million to $3 million). Prospective portfolio companies should have a management team with relevant experience, high growth potential, a completed product or service, and a thoughtfully constructed growth strategy. IrishAngels Raising Tech Fund

Another alumni angel investor group has graduated to a full-fledged venture fund.

IrishAngels, a group of about 200 University of Notre Dame alumni that launched in 2012 to make startup investments, just raised its first formal venture fund. IrishAngel Ventures has raised $12.5 million of a planned $15 million fund, according to a securities filing.
